As an end of the year celebration for the Bronx Teens JBP, we went camping for 2 days at Croton Point Park in upstate NY. Youth got a chance to enjoy nature by swimming in the Hudson River, sleeping in tents, cooking food over a fire, kayaking, and hiking in the woods. Youth also learned about the history of the Native American roots of the park and the history of the Hudson River by visiting a wildlife and artifact museum.
